I have had experience with a few different models of laptops, and after mine became outdated, i had to find a new one. I chose the Dell Inspiron 3700 r450gt because it was the fastest and most versatile computer i could find with a price tag fit for the college student. The screen is a lot larger and graphics are better than on previous models, even sharp enough that i decided to get a dvd player for it. It's lightweight too, so it is easy to take to the library, class, or over to a friends dorm. The keyboard is still a little small, but i hooked up a pc keyboard and it works for me. Long life batteries are available and are a good idea if you plan to take it with you wherever you go. So if your a college student, or just someone who doesn't think a computer should put you in the poor house, the Dell Inspiron 3700 r450gt is the one for you.
