This thing is sweet! If you are into having the highest quality parts for your computer, then this sound card is for you. Included with the Platinum version is what's called a Live! Drive. This fits into a 5.25 bay and has easy front access to SPDIF, MIDI, Line inputs/outputs and also headphone output. The only thing missing on this Live! Drive is a gaming port. That would make it easier to switch between a joystick and a gamepad than having to climb behind your computer to change things around.

And this thing packs a punch. You'll never need to turn your speaker volume level passed 50%, unless you get a desire to drive your neighbors bonkers.

Creative, as usual, packaged the sound card nicely with other software. With games such as, Need for Speed: High Stakes, Descent 3, and Thief.
