Don't bother... too slow and a yucky interface.

I have given up on using Freedrive. Sure they offer 50 megs of space, but that's no help if you can never connect to their servers or if even modest size file take eons to transfer.
I began using Freedrive so I could share files with colleagues who work in another country. We wanted am efficient way of storing "reference" files that we all regularly updated and referred to. Emailing the files meant we lost track of which version was which, plus you had to remember to send or check your email.
Freedrive sounded like a great solution, but in practice the connections are painfully slow. I find I have to reload just my Freedrive directory page several times before I can even see the files listed. Transferring files (either up or down) takes ages, and there is no measure of how much of the file has been sent. You just have to wait till the "File Transferring" window-thingy closes. If I am transferring a big file, I want to know if it is 5% complete or 95% complete before I decide whether to stay at my desk for a minute or two or cancel the transfer and go home.
There is no warning of duplicate files... you can upload several files with the same name, which gets mighty confusing. The interface and general look of Freedrive is crude and basic.
My recommendation - try i-drive instead.
