My husband and I are not accountants and we generally have an accountant do our taxes until our friend, which is a CPA, told us most accountants will just use a program and charge you a good amount.

Well, last year we did it ourselves with Turbo Tax and I was amazed how thorough this program is. It asked us questions our accountant didn't even bother to ask us. We even had some IRA money that was cashed out and I have a home based business so we were kind of leary to do it ourselves. We had only one problem with our taxes and that was my husband put the wrong social security number for our son. Other than that we had no problem.

So, what do you think we are doing this year. Yes, Turbo Tax. Once you get the program you go and get the updates so everything is current. they are good at offering help with the program. Honestly I have no bad comments. I am really pleased and thankful for this program.
