I work for a company that purchased over 700 of these systems. In the first 4 months we experienced a failure rate of over 10% with some systems having more than one failure. The biggest issue is the connectors along the side of the display in the lid that would break from the users day to day use, causing the display to stop functioning.
Dell's service was great and the system were repaired quickly, with a more robust display installed.
In the future I will certainly approach Dell cautiously as my first experience with this particular laptop product has not be great, especially where the systems are mission critical and any down time for the user means they cannot work, hence lost productivity.
