What can I say about this remarkable machine? It's fast, it's easy to use, and it comes with great software that just about anyone can use. The images are incredibly clear, which makes it great for restoring old photos. It is compatible with Windows or Macintosh, so there is no excuse not to get it.
Now, I don't actually own this myself, but my father in law does, and I have been able to use it many times. I use the scanner to get pictures on my web pages and to email to friends. It's also nice to have all my pictures on disk just as a precaution in case something happens to my photo album.
I was going to buy some second rate, cheep scanner, just until I could afford to get something this good. But now I think I’m just going to save up for the Scanjet 6390. After all, even a cheep scanner is still a lot of money to just through away on something that is not going to last, or do the job right.
