StartSampling.com is a web site that you can earn miles (points) while sampling free products. This site has potential but right now I feel it is a waste of time. After you register for StartSampling, you can choose to receive a free sample of a product that they have listed on their site. On average they have about 4-5 samples listed. You can only get one free sample a day.

Here is how you can earn points:
* Visit StartSampling (once per day) 10 miles (On every 10th visit per month you earn 15 bonus miles)
· Visit a manufacturer's web site 15 Miles
· Provide feedback on a sample 25 Miles
· Send in receipts and proofs-of-purchase 20 miles
Earn 20 Miles for your first purchase
and 5 Miles for each additional
purchase up to 40 Miles per product.
· Refer friend and they become a member 25 Miles
You can earn 75 bonus miles for the first three referrals

When you go to the site, you will find that most of the time, there is a message beside the product stating "Sorry. All selected". Meaning they have run out of the product. There have been times that I have requested a product and it has taken 2-3 weeks before I got the product. I registered for this site around the first of the year. So far I have earned about 1,100 miles. (That is about 3 months.) There are other sites where you can earn that in a about a week to a week in a half. Two at the most. Another thing I do not like about this site is checking my account. To check my account, I must type in a password (that part is fine), but I must also type in my month, day, and year of birth. This is the only site that I know that requires all that information to check an account.

Again, I do not recommend this site. If you are interested in a site where you can earn miles (points) to get free items, I suggest that you choose another site.
