I own a HP Pavilion 8570C and I find it to be one of the best, and user friendly computers I have ever used. The computer comes with a plain CD-ROM drive and a CD-R/RW. Good sound, great video which includes a built in ATI Rage Pro 3-D card for those of you gamers out there that don't care to break the warranty by installing your own. It has a 433Mhz Intel Pentium III processor and 96MB or RAM which is later upgrade-able to 256MB. Over all I believe this computer has enough simplicity for a novice, and great speed even for a fellow expert. This computer has given me hardly any problems. The only thing to complain about is the amount of system recourse management is a little poor. Although, when you run a number of programs on any computer it will be used up quickly. To clear up the problem, just try to keep the number of programs, running on the taskbar, down.
