I have to say the things I find out about here on Epinions are changing my entire life! Napster is just one example of this. I don't think I will ever have to purchase a CD or any other music again... Napster is so cool.

If you are unfamiliar with this little program let me enlighten you. Napster is a FREE download available at napster.com, that is basically a search engine for MP3 song files. All you have to do is type a songs title or an artists name into the search engine, and you will get a list of many (sometime hundreds) of matches you can easily download. The download list is compiled from other Napster users who are on-line at the same time you are, and you will also be offering any of the MP3 files you already have on your hard drive to them for downloading.

When I first read about this on Epinions, I was a little skeptical...wondering if I really wanted people having access to my hard drive to download my song files. But Napster is so easy to install and use,(it couldn't be simpler) my concerns were unwarranted.

If you love music as I do, you have to get this program. After watching Santanas amazing performance at the Grammys the other night, I fired up ol' Napster and downloaded "Smooth"... too cool! And the coolest part of course is...it's FREE.

I am having a blast downloading songs of all sorts...and I wonder, can this be legal?
