I have been using Claris Homepage for my web site since 1997. In the beginning, this program had a lot of bugs in it but the newest version (3.0) is fantastic. My website (Clooney Fan Homepage) has well over 20 pages, yet I can access individual files from one single window to edit them.
The editing window is very similar to a word processor (easy). I can use the toolbar or pull down menu to automatically add HTML or photos. I can preview pages and switch modes (from WYSIWYG to raw code) with one easy click. It enables you to create forms and custom tables that feature different column and row sizes.
It also includes an integrated FTP feature, but I have never used it (I prefer CuteFTP).
Claris Homepage is a good web design tool for *all* levels of users.
