Kidnapped for Repairs

I have purchased one laptop computer from CompUSA. I had much trouble with it and after just 7 months I had to take it in for repairs. I had purchased a 5 year warranty for it. The laptop cost $899.00. They held my laptop for 3 months and never called me about anything as to what was going on with the repair. It was always me calling and going through the 8 menus to get any type of answer. And then I would always be put on Terminal Hold waiting for a response. Finally they had deemed my laptop to cost to much to repair and wanted to just give me a store credit of $500.00. They said the laptop was only worth that much now. I had to become a very Irate person and go through many channels to get to speak to someone that could finally help me. I finally spoke to someone who could help me and convinced them to issue me a new laptop. They didn't make the one I had purchased anymore so they offered me the cheapest one they had. A basic CompUSA laptop that cost $999.00. I was finally appeased after the frustration and money I had spent on the laptop and the 5 year warranty. Now with the new laptop. I have had it but 1 day shy of a year and it messed up like the last one did. I took it in On Oct. 11 and have yet to hear from them. I called today and they said they had to back order a new power cord and a fan before they could check to see what the internal problem is. KIDNAPPED AGAIN. Who knows when I will get my laptop back from the CompUSA Prison from Hell. I did purchase a warranty on the new one they offered me. THANK GOD.
I purchased my first laptop in Virginia and had many inconsiderate employees trying to assist me who had no knowledge on much of anything. Then I moved here to Georgia and took my second laptop in for repairs. They have the same crew of employees here as well. Do they all Train at the same place??? I would not recommend this place to ANYONE. They have no prices on most of their products displayed in the store and most of the items are in the wrong places and you think you are picking up a $5.00 item which is actually $30.00 when you get up to the register. Not one employee has been able to answer my questions or if they do they don't know what they are talking about. I could go on and on but I think you get the picture I am painting. DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE...
