What I like about this instant messanger is that you can message people when they are offline just like ICQ. AIM cannot do this and I think that is its one big downfall. I have both AIM and Yahoo IM and I use them both since most of the people I know have AIM but I still like Yahoo IM so much better for that one simple option that i'm sure AIM can add.

Yahoo IM also beats ICQ by its so much easier to set up and add people. I feel that ICQ is to filled with so many dumb options it overwhelms new users. It took me like 30 minutes to figure out how to turn off the sounds for ICQ. So i feel if you want a great IM service be sure to check out the one from Yahoo. I feel soon it will pick up popularity once the public figures it out.
