About
The Intel PC Camera Pack comes with a wide variety of programs to use with. It's small, easy to use and fun to play with.
I personally purchased both, the Intel PC Camera Pack and the Intel PC Camera Pack PRO which has a few more options.
Picture Perfect?
Suprisingly yes it is. The USB Port provides quick refreshing of the screen. It adjusts to low light conditions very well. I've seen some opinions judging its work in low light, but I highly disagree. I decided to test it out. I turned off all my lights and used the monitor as the light resource. Suprisingly it picked up my image very well. This isn't a night vision camera people. Its not supposed to be able to photograph in pitch black.
Tell me about it..
Well considering I now use the Intel PC Camera Pro Pack, they do have their similarities. Both support Live Snapshot pictures that you can have delayed 5 seconds. Its easy to install, just plug it into your USB port restart and follow the onscreen instructions. It has an adjustable wheel to control the focus of it. This camera does not vary in focus..therefore you do not need to change it much. It comes witha 'privacy' shudder that covers up the lens. It also has a nice long cord so your not limited to 2 feet. It comes with a software package containing Snapshot, Record Video and sound ( the camera does not record sound ) Live update so you can have a live cam on your webpage. It also comes with a few odd but fun games that you play.
Which is better regular or Pro?
I personally would go with the pro. For $120 you get a few more options like Video input in the back of the camera which allows you to tape your home videos etc right on your computer! With both you can make video phone calls to your friends on the internet who also have a WebCam. I believe the PRO is worth the money. I paid $120 plus a $60 rebate which basicly brought it down to the regular pc pack price. The PRO works awesome in low light conditions and the picture is amazing. It's almost to clear to be true.
Overall?
Overall both are great, but if you can get the Pro Pack for cheap, go with that it's worth it 100%
