The Creative package that's offered is one of the better ones on the market. It is especially nice for those people who are buying the video cards that don't have Hardware DVD support (like my nVidia board). The package comes with everything you need to get setup -- except a cord for the Dolby 5.1 port. Setup was easy, as long as you know how to take apart your case and add an IDE device. Installation in Win98 was as simple as installing the software it came with. I have yet to look at the user-manual.
The software it comes with is full featured, and allows you to do anything just as a normal DVD console. The S-Video out to the TV-Set as well looks just as good as an external DVD unit. I didn't notice any skips or jumps on my Celeron 550 (OC 366) system.
This is a good product to incorporate DVD in both your computer and movie watching experience. I use it for both and it works great on either my 19" monitor, or 35" TV. Both true DVD quality. (even better when you have Dolby Pro Logic 5.1 Support).

Windows 2000 support is non-existant from Creative right now. Just a warning til Creative decides to release some drivers for it.
