I just put a system together with the Trinity 400 board, and I'm happy to say that everything just went together easily and it came up without a hitch. I decided on this MB because it had the dual processor sockets. At the time I was looking for the motherboard, I hadn't purchased a processor yet and was leaning toward a Celeron to save a few dollars. As it is, I came across a great price on a PIII chip and went that way. I'm currently running it with a 533MHz PII chip, 133MHz front side bus, with 192MB RAM. I have an ATI Rage Fury Pro 32MB video card on it as well.
I only had to change a few things on the setup screen, one of which was the memory bus frequency which had to be increased to 133MHz to take advantage of the faster RAM. This board is extremely flexible allowing you to change most parameters on the setup screen. It has three DIMM sockets and can handle up to 768MB of RAM. The front side bus can be set at 66, 100, 133, 140 or 150 MHz.
So far I haven't had any problems with this system. I moved the hard drive from my old system into this one, and I no longer get the sporadic system lock-ups that I was experiencing before.
I would definitely recommend this motherboard to anyone looking to upgrade their system or assemble a new one.
