| Kenchiw's Full Review: Sharp Actius A250 (PCA250) PC Notebook |
Do you travel around often and still looking for the right notebook with you on the trip? Yeah, I am raising my hand. In that case, you should take a closer attention on the Actius A250, which I find amazingly light in weight(only 3 pounds). I will definitely take it on my next trip, for it won't slow me down for sure. Its appearance is so attractive and appealing that I feel proud to carry it anywhere I go.
With a total price of $2399 plus a shipping and handling from UPS, I received this neat little guy only 3 days after I ordered it online. It feature Pentium II-3000 processor, 64 MB of SDRAM and 6.4 GB hard drive. For me and most of the frequent-travelers, this is just enough to work nicely around all sort of applications. I especially delighted in the extra-light and sharp images delivers by the 11.3 inches display screen. Also, its display screen can reduce reflection, so that I can read the screen nicely even under brighter sunshine. And I must warn you that most other notebook screen can't do the same.
Actius A250 doesn't have a outstanding batteries life, for which only last around 85 minutes or so. Well, that's about average as I compare with other notebook, so it's fairly on the average scale. Other than this, I am pretty satisfy with its built-in V.90 modem, which is the fastest available now, except for other special line connection, such as cable. Its touchpad is neat and sensitive, so I can easily move around as good as if I used a conventional mouse.
The Actius A250 mean alot to me then just e-mailing and documenting on the road. There are so much thing that you have to lay your finger on it to realize its full advantage. As I personally choose high transportability in the top place, I am sure to work happily with it for quite a long time.
