I downloaded this nifty little add-on after reading about it on Epinions. I am forever surfing the net and getting spammed by ad pop-up windows. I don't know about you, but when I go to a web site, I want to see the web site, not an advertisement!
Before I got Analogx POW I had to manually close every little pop-up that arose, this can be a task if you have ever been to a site that has pop-ups as a punishment for closing a pop-up. I have literally been caught in a web of pop-ups trying to get rid of the first one!!! Not anymore, thanks to Analogx POW, all the ads get stomped while I have time to actually read the web page that I wanted to visit.
As a test, I went to my homepage...on a free server that has pop-ups. As part of the contract, I am not allowed to delete the HTML code that generates the ad.(if you do, you lose your homepage), but, now Analogx POW does all the work for me, the ad is still there, but it gets squashed as soon as it shows itself!!! Ha...no contract breach, and peaceful surfing for me.
Any time you go to a site that does not have the pop-up in POW's list, it is very simple to add it. All you do is right click on the icon, click add/delete window, then double click the name of the window you want added!!! Takes about 5 seconds to add an ad to the list!!!
