Face it! Today lugging around a laptop everywhere you go is not only impractical, it simply isn't necessary! In most cases, as you travel the world on business trips, you are checking E-mail, sending and receiving memos, putting together an Excel spread- sheet or organizing events in your calendar. Leave that laptop home Leo, the Ipaq H3650 is here, and it can do all these things and more!!
This little jewel has a 32-bit RISC Processor running at 206Mhz, 32mb of SDRAM and 16mb Flash memory. The front panel has 5 buttons plus a five-way joystick; (1 on/off and back-light button and (2-5) customizable application buttons). The color display is a TFT type LCD and supports color up to 12-bit (4096 colors), measures 2.26 x 3.02 inches or 3.7 inches diagonal and has a 0.24mm dot pitch.
This unit weighs in at a whopping 6.3 ounces including battery, and has a battery life of up to 12 hrs (without back-lighting only). On a technical note, the battery will never go completely dead. By design this unit reserves enough battery power to save your data until you have a chance to recharge it. I think this is an awesome feature in and of itself!
Synchronizing this unit up to a PC is a breeze with the integrated USB port, and the manual input to the unit is done via handwriting recognition. (This unit also supports audio notes). The O/S is Windows CE based and is relatively intuitive. I will not go into further detail in this review because of redundancy.
