| bfitz's Full Review: Dell Inspiron 3500 A400GT |
I purchased this laptop to replace a desktop that had finally bit the bullet. Its been a great replacement and I love the portability of the computer as well.
I purchased this laptop through Dell because of the advertising I had seen on numerous occasions and like the approach they took to the purchasing experience for the consumer.
The support has been really good and was impressed with the quality of the product I purchased. I am an "anything but IBM" consumer, but wanted to avoid the problems I had with by previous system, as it was a lesser known maker. So far, I am pleased as punch.
The installed software has been really nice, but I would have loved to been able to take a more active role in the software installed and would have appreciated more software choices, or at least the ability to have the software installed at a later date. I don't really use a number of the programs and would also have like to have the manuals included in the purchase of my computer. They are very helpful and nice to have.
Anway, I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for the latest and greatest replacement for the good old desktop.
