Yeah, I know HTML...but why bother?

Pros:Alot of features, and full functionality to build your own websites.
Cons:A little difficult to get started, but once you do...watchout! You're smokin!

On the first glance, Microsoft Front Page seems like a demon you have to conquer. Truth be told, it does have alot of features that you have to get acquired to. After you do though, its all downhill.

I never had an easier time creating and editing my existing pages. Making tables and formatting the page is so easy. Functionality runs rampant in this feature-rich program. It makes it so easy to add images, insert JavaScript(if you know how to write it), and save your pages with an all inclusive directory structure. It helps to know HTML so you can edit the code to your desired result, but its also great for beginners who are just learning so they can see how the HTML is affected.

Alot of people may criticize this product for its ease of use. I've met some hardcore designers who swear by Notepad...but come on...thats sooo 1996. If you have tools available to you, use them. There is nothing wrong with saving time, and that translates into money in the business world. Do yourself a favor, close Notepad and open up Microsoft FrontPage.

I havent had a chance to use FrontPage 2000, but I use FP98 all the time, and wouldnt dream of using any other website creation program for basic web design. This is truly the greatest thing since Wonder Bread.
