Overall this laptop is a powerful, durable, heavy piece of equipment. I currently am a network consultant and see these everywhere in my corp. I use one myself and am very impressed with its performance. I can compare my experience with this to laptops manufactured by other brands and it stands out way above the rest. The only drawback is the weight. Other than that I would recommend it to anyone looking to purchase one. I too have seen the nightmare of laptops having been dropped or fallen off of tables, and let me tell you that this is the one that passed the test. This laptop also passed another freak accident test. A user accidentally spilled an entire 32 oz cup of Pepsi into the keyboard area while on, and after a bit of a spit shine the thing works like it did when it was new.
