I purchased my new computer about six months ago and it came with McAfee on it, so I thought it was there because it was the best,Wrong,When I tested it , to see how well it was working (at the Norton site)I figured the reason it didn't "see" their test was because it was not a Norton......

So I went to another test site and got the " EICAR " test , again it didn't see it .. by now I was wondering if I even had an working Virus system on my computer... I went to another site (forgot the name) to test and see, the test said it found no virus protection on my computer...

.. I thought about Norton, but have heard horror stories , shut-down problems, etc.....
So I down loaded the free virus program "INOCULATE IT ", and it saw the test right away. And I am very happy with it! It has a different window than McAfee , but once you get used to it its great, and the updates are free (although slower downloading), and they notify your e-mail when they are ready (if you want) , or you can get automatic updates... I recommend this product....
