I have always wanted to have a website, but I never had the time to learn how to program html files or any of that stuff. I went searching for free space, and came upon FortuneCity.com. Through this service, they gave me a free copy of Trellix web page builder. I downloaded the 16.5 meg file, and opened it up. What I found was an easy to use program that basically did all the work for me!

Trellix basically works with templates. First, you tell the program what kind of page you want (ie: business,personal, etc.) You then pick the colors and the format of the page. It then opens up a demo screen that shows you the map of your new page. You then choose how many pages you want, how you want them linked, and the titles of these pages.

You then can enter photos or text, or even Web Gems, which are little bonuses such as web counters and affiliate programs. The program walks you through every step, and it takes about 15 minutes to have a fully functional web page, without much work.

When you finish your page, you have the option of previewing it. If everything is the way you want it, you then hit the publish button, and it automatically uploads your page to the server of your choice. Pretty simple and very fast!

If you want to update your page, you just open your saved copy, and make the changes. Trellix then uploads your revisions to the server with the touch of a button!

I made my first web page about a certain incident that occurred at my apartment. It is a very simple page, but it is exactly what I was looking for. If you are looking to make a complicated web page that is very fancy and modern, then this program probably isn't for you. This program is for beginners who don't have too much time or knowledge on programming a web page, but who want a decent and accessible site that looks good and is easy to use!
