Small Convenience

Diznik's Full Review: Toshiba Satellite 2100
The Toshiba 2100 Satellite is the first laptop I've ever owned. It comes equipped with 32M of RAM which I upgraded to 64M. It is very light weight and compact. It has a very small screen which takes some getting used to if you are used to using a desktop. The ball mouse is also very difficult to master but you can connect a regular mouse or a larger keyboard if you like.

The Toshiba is a workhorse of a computer and can perform most of the same functions as my larger desktop. It is not glamorous but it is very effective for most businss applications. I use it mainly for work; creating and using Excel spreadsheets and communication with Microsoft Outlook. The model I am using had abase price of $999 plus I purchased an additional 32M SDRAM. This makes it an almost must buy if you are looking for a notebook but are on a tight budget.
