This computer has been very stable and a true work horse. This is my second Acer and I can recommend Acer computers. Their hardware is solid and trouble free. I included software is acceptable and that annoying Acer desktop is easily disabled. Acer ships with a recovery disk that has really caught one. I would accept a computer without one. The idea is that if anything goes wrong then the recovery disk can return the software to factory specs. A really plus if you like to play with your computer. Easily upgradeable and I suggest getting extra memory which is fairly cheap these days. Good luck and happy computing. You will be fine with this computer in your home.
