Being a gamer, You just have to have top of the line products. Being an audiophile, you have to have good sound. Solution? Get a Sound Blaster Live! Platinum Sound Card. This sound card takes a step past ordinary devices, and I must say, it is well worth it. Featuring pure, digital audio, this device surpasses all competition. Never before could I have said, "This sounds better than my stereo."
Let me get down into the facts.
Pros:
* Crisp, Clean, Digital Audio.
* Features a new concept, the Live! Drive. Not a drive, more of a front panel access to headphone and speaker connections. (check out web site for more info)
* Perfect audio reproduction (digital)
* Great technical support and documentation
* Free access to latest drivers (abridged, though)
* Four Channel audio when connected to speakers, such as

* Many Inputs and Outputs on the Live! Drive
Cons:
* Live! Drive takes up a 5 1/4 Bay
* Lots of internal cabling to do
* A Hassle to configure EA (Environmental Audio)
