aubdaddy's Full Review: NBA Live 2000 for PlayStation 1
I went out and bought NBA Live 2000 after I heard so many good things about it. I was excited. I couldn't wait to get it home and play it. I unwrapped it faster than most Christmas gifts and popped it in the ol' PSX. This game is every NBA Live game ever made. Same thing. No differences. No big improvements. I didn't even think having Jordan in the game made it that much better. I bought the PC version first and it's game play was horrid, but it did have a dynasty or franchise mode. The Playstation version didn't. I don't see how this game, probably EA's best seller, can't have a franchise mode. All the other games do. Madden, NCAA Football, and even the horrible March Madness does. Needless to say I went back to Wal-Mart and got my money back for it the next day. Hope this calms ANY excitement over this game. I just can hope that EA Sports can improve on their basketball games in the future because the next one I buy may very well be the last one I buy.
