If you have three or four hundred to spend on a CDRW drive, buy a Sony. If not, then take what you can get. If you think about how cheap this drive is, then you really can't complain about it.
The NTI software does not recognize my original CDROM drive so I have to copy discs to the HD and then copy them back to a CDR, but that could happen with any CDRW drive or software. So it takes a little longer to copy a disc, but you have less problems with poor quality and buffer underruns if you copy it to the HD first anyway.
The only thing that annoys me is that it writes so slow compared to the other drives out now! I bought my drive a yeah ago and paid $180 for it (I think), and it was a good deal at that time. Now I am looking to upgrade, but it keeps writing with no problems, so I have no reason to trade it in.
BTW, anyone who wants to buy it from me, I'll only charge ya $200!
hehehe
