How select a satisfied desktop

At present choosing a personal computer is not as easy as it once was due to the dozens of PC makers and models on the market today. You should consider all hardware to suit your need. I have buy many different PC for my friends and me. So I want to talk about the main factory you should consider.
1. CPU
CPU is the best know component of a PC. It is processor of chip which is a bundle of tiny electronic transistors tied together with thin strands of metal of metal. The speech of the CPU will affect the computer’s speed. The speed is calculated by megahertz which represent the number of mathematical calculations it can tackle in a second – with a PC’s performance. The main manufacturers of PC processors are Intel Cop and AMD Inc. Now the popular CPU is 700M or so.
2. RAM
RAM is another factor that affect your PC’s speed. In some way the more RAM the faster your PC has. RAM is random access memry which stores and feeds data to the processor; its hard drive where all the data is stored; and its graphics processing system which helps to “render” or paint images on the screen. Now the common is 64M and 128M a piece. I suggest you buy a 128M fast. Then it is easy to update. The most RAM depend on the slot on the motherboard. Usually there are four slots on the motherboard. Thus you can have 128M*4. Because the price is a little high you can buy the RAM fulfill your need then update it.
3. Motherboard
The mother is a large transistor board where the chip sets and other system components are attached inside the plastic box. Most of components are collected on it. It is baseband of other components. When select this components you should consider the slots PCI and bus.
4. Disk drives
There are three kinds of disk drives. They includes a hard disk drive, where the data is stored, usually 20G now; a floppy disk drive for backing up and sharing sharing small files on 3 ½ inch disks and compact disc or digital video disc drives for playing large digital content files or applications like songs or games. There are three factors you want to keep in mind when you are shopping for a PC; your budget how you plan to use the system and how long you plan to keep it.
5. Monitor
Monitors are often sold separately because they are made by different companies. Screen size and resolution are the two main factors for most when purchasing a monitor. For good view you will need at least a 15-inch color monitor but today many choose 17-inch monitors. You should set up your monitor to at least 800*600 resolution and 16-bit color depth. The color depth means the number of colors that can fit into a certain a mount of data. For 16-bit color , this is over 64,000 different shades.
6. Mouse
A computer “mouse” is a small tool connected to your computer that helps you navigate the “cursor” around the screen. There are two kinds of mouse. The first has a roller ball on the bottom that controls the cursor on the screen. The other has a roller ball on the top of the mouse. Which instead of moving the entire mouse you can move the roller ball with your fingers. You can select your love.
7. Keyboards
PCs have a Qwerty style keyboard. There are three different types of keyboards to choose from: original (84 keys), advanced technology (84 keys) ,and enhanced (101 keys.) Except the number of keys each keyboard has the major difference between these styles is the location of the “shift,” “enter” and “control” keys.
8. Decide your budget
You decide how much you want to spend. This is easiest way to simplify buying a PC. The store salesmen always say, “buy the fastest machine you can afford” because whatever system you buy today will be obsolete by tomorrow. No matter what your budget that fits your needs today and for at least a year to come.
