| mrousou's Full Review: HP Pavilion 8660 |
Well the facts are as follows:-The Hewlett-Packard Pavilion 8660C is a Pentium III 533-MHz system with MMX multimedia enhancement technology. It comes standard with 128 MB of memory and is upgradable to 256 MB using SDRAM memory modules. Hewlett-Packard installs a 20.4 GB hard drive, a DVD-ROM drive, CD recorder/rewriter, and 56K fax/modem. I am quite happy with this desktop.. its fast and very reliable.
The 8660C's Intel 830 chipset with AGP graphics accelerator supports 11 MB of memory and resolutions up to 1,600 x 1,200 pixels. Two USB ports are installed on the back of the Pavilion 8660C. One game port is located on the front panel for easy access. The 8660C includes a 10/100 BaseT network card.
The cd Writer Plus is excellent ... backing up all those big files and creating custom quality Mp'3s... Highly recommend this desktop.
