If they (who ever they are) say that speed kills, then I must be dead. This little wonder of a CD-WR is amazing. I can't get over how fast I can write stuff. Now I must say that I got it for a real deal. The place that I went to get it accidentally gave me this model for a cheaper model's price. However, am I very glad they did. I don't have too much experience with CD-WRs, but what I have heard in the past is that they are slow and they take forever to write a full CD. But, this puppy can burn a full CD in about 11 minutes or so. I mean that is some serious speed.
The only real drawback to this little unit is the price. The standard $399 is a little steep. However, when you buy quality, you are going to have to pay for it. I personally believe that HP is the Cadillac of computers products. So I say why not spend an extra buck or too. You can always use one of those 10-10 something numbers on your long distance telephone calls and save enough to spend some more on the HP.
So if you are in the market for speed and quality, give the HP line of CD-WRs a look and make sure to think this CD-WR over.
