Are you tired of sometimes not being able to find your way around a town that you are unfamiliar with? How about when you are on vacation and you want to take a trip, but to afraid that you will end up being lost in some State?
Or even for those men who hate to ask for directions, cause they feel it isn’t cool? Well no need to worry any longer, cause with MS Streets and Trips 2000, you can get all the directions you will need for your trip.
No more stopping at a gas station to ask for directions, no more feeling un-cool in front of your girlfriend or wife, or co-worker. It’s time to sit back in your car and enjoy your trip with full knowledge that you will end up where you want to go with out being lost.
If you can follow directions that are wrote down for you, then this is the one program you have to have. I know I didn’t like to go out of my State or even a few hours away from my home, cause I was worried I would end up lost, but NOT now, cause with this program I always end up where I wanted to go.
This program is easy to install and easy to run, when you first open this program up and you are ready to begin it will open with a box asking you what you want to do, after you choose what you want to do then it is ready to begin.
What does this program have to offer, lets take a look into MS Streets and Trips 2000.
There are a few things you can do with this program. Plan a Route, Find a Person and Find an Address. Let’s start off with the Plan the Route
Plan a Route
With plan a route, first you start off by entering where you want to begin your route from, normally it is from your own town, so you would type in the name of your town. Then it will ask you to set end point, this is where you want to type in the name of the street or town that you want to go to. You can also add some extra stops on the way if you prefer to do this. Then after you have added the start and end points, then push calculate. When it is done calculating it will show you a map of the start and end point.
It will also show you directions on how to get to that point. It will show all routes you have to go on, street names and turns you have to take. It will give you how many miles from each route and each turn. It also gives you the time you want to leave, and how long it will take you to get there.
It gives you the total mileage, driving time, and cost of the gas to get there. I like that idea knowing in advance around how much it is going to cost me to travel to somewhere. Helps you not run out of gas on your trip.
So with this service you can feel very comfortable on your travel experience.
Find a Place
With this feature you can look up and find a place that you don’t know where it is. For instance I love Chinese food, but say I don’t know where it is located in my near by towns, but I do know the name of one. So I type in Main Won and presto, it show’s up and gives me directions on how to get there. It will also give me directions to every Main Won Restaurant that is in the USA.
So if you heard of a great Restraunt, but don’t know where it might be in your town, or the town you are going to, then just find it with this program and then you will have the time of your life eating at one of your favorite Restraunt.
Another feature that I like about this is, once you mapped out your route, you can then click on a icon that will give you ideas of what is in the general area you are going to. It will give you the local towns around that area, and any information on restraints or other great places to visit in that area. Helps give you a general idea of some extra things you might like to do.
Well I hope I have help others with this review, cause I believe this is one handy trips and map program that anyone could use, specially this Holiday Season, would make a great gift for that special someone who loves to travel, or for a person who loves to travel, but to afraid of getting lost.
This program is easy to use even a younger kid could use this as well.
