| GinnyH's Full Review: Cybermax TravelMax 3 |
I purchased this product to help me with my educational presentations (PowerPoint). I am a state trainer for the state writing assessment, lead trainer for civics/government, state trainer for social studies, circle leader for iUniverse.com's middle school site--Ginny's Eclectic Middle School, and an educational author.
I purchased this product June 27, 2000 and today is December 6, 2000. Since June 27, I have not had an operating laptop. When it was sent to me, it would not even turn on--except for one out of every 10-20 efforts. I needed the computer for summer social studies academies (the state of KS summer training in the new standards). I created my PowerPoint presentations on my desktop and sent my TravelMax 3 into Getac, Inc. I was told if I sent it overnight, that I'd have my computer back on Monday. I paid the $55 it took to overnight and on Monday I was informed that no one knew where my computer was. A week or so later the TravelMax 3 was returned--still non-functioning. I could get the PowerPoint to run, so I kept it for my presentations, acquired another repair--tracking number for Getac, Inc., and paid around $15 to ship on October 16. Today, Getak, Inc. representative tells them they can't find my computer.
I clicked onto the CyberMax site and the only thing showing is an emblem with no links.
