I use and help maintain about 10 of these printers in the office where I work. In a few words, I really don't think you can beat this printer for under $4000. We picked them all up for around $2600 each I believe, which is a true bargain.
Now the details. These are some versatile machines. All of them are running off of a 12 port hub. The speed is what it should be in the price range, fast. With the network capability it makes the wide use of the printer so simple. Just plug it up to your existing network and everyone is printing high quality prints in no time at all.
Paper jams are a VERY rare occurrence, although they do happen occasionally. Most are due to user error, such as people putting in too many sheets in the trays, or loading unusually thick cardstock etc without know what they are doing.
Small to medium sized offices would love to have this machine. I have only seen ONE of our ten machines have a problem and it was not available for use for just a mere 24 hours. The technician just came out, swapped out some card he said went bad, and we were back in business. This is reliability and great service support as well.
HP is known for their laser printers. I am by no means a FAN of the entire HP printer lineup, but there laser printers are definitely top notch. We have multiple Xerox and Hitachi printers that get more use than the HPs, but they are down so often and waiting for tech support it is sick. Stick with the HP Lasers and you will be in good hands. We have yet to find a job it couldn't handle.
