I do not recommend this computer at all. We have had nothing but problems with it since we bought it almost a year and six months ago. The first thing that we noticed was that it freezes up frequently, usually when you are in the middle of something important. This means that we constantly have to save, which is a good idea anyway but still annoying! I find customer service to be very difficult. You have to go through several computerized button pushes in order to reach an actual human. Sometimes, the person does not speak English very well. I don't mean to sound discriminatory but on the phone it is very important to be able to clearly understand the person that you are talking too.
The second problem occurred when we had to move. When we unplugged the monitor from the CPU, the copper prongs bent. It was not fixable. We are not rough people. We had only had the computer for a few months. I again had to call customer service. This time none of the buttons to press fit my needs. I called and called and called, but nobody would help me. I finally had tears and an operator took pity on me and helped me even though it was not her department. I finally got a new monitor.
The last time I called customer service, they spent 10 minutes getting my full name, address, phone number, email, and serial numbers to the CPU, only to tell me that they couldn't help me because my warranty had expired!
Pretty soon we are getting a Dell Laptop because my husband is required to buy a laptop for college. I can't wait!
