Worth it for a noviceMar 08 '00 Write an essay on this topic.I bought my Gateway G6-400 a year ago. I previously had an IBM (Yes an actual IBM computer) that was 5 years old and decided I had enough. I needed something new. I figured I wanted a Gateway before I even knew exactly what I wanted. I had heard good things about Gateway and figured I would give it a try. I was even more intrigued by the fact that I could customize the model I wanted. I really liked that there was such a variety to chose from as well. As stated above, I got the G6-400. It suited me fine at the time. Of course, computers change everyday, but I am still very satisfied with my computer. Gateway is a great company. The company is even better than the computer. Gateway has wonderful customer service. After about 3 months, my mouse just stopped working. I called them up and they sent me a new one free of charge that day. I didn't have to argue that I needed one, they just sent it. I would recommend a gateway to anyone who is unsure about computers. They treat you fairly and give you a pretty good deal. There customer service is great. That is their greatest asset.  |
