I recently purchased a HP9600 form the HP site.

The online experience was "ok." I am new to pcs (I have a mac network) so I decided to speak to a human being about the purchase. The assistance I received was thoughtful and concise.

My computer arrived in two separate shipments (one for the monitor and one for the cpu) very fast. The computer itself has worked flawlessly. Install was a breeze and now I love it. I have never owned a pc. This machine is simple to use, powerful and I find Windows 98 to be an intuitive operating system!

This machine is easy to put on a network too. I had it sharing an internet connection in an hour. You can do this with a Network Interface card and networking hardware.
I would recommend this computer to anyone considering a middle of the road pc. Its not a stunning graphic power house; I use it to cross-develop web content and it is perfect for my limited needs!
