I just started to use this program and am still trying to figure it out. The concept of this program is great--one can finally make mixes or copy CDs for/from friends. Its quick and its saves LOTS of $$$.
Although its title claims "Easy CD Creator," I have found some of the steps to be quite confusing. The CD wizard actually makes the whole process more confusing. Luckily, one of my friends showed me the copy and drag method which is much less confusing. All you do is put the CD in and drag the track # down to the bottom half of the screen where you make your list of songs for the CD. I was surprised how fast and easy it was to make the actual CD. It helps to write down on a separate sheet of paper the line up of your songs because if you don't write the song titles in as you go along because if you don't you will mess up!
The hardest part was not burning the CD, rather making the cover! The song titles were too long and I could not easily figure out how to change one without changing all of them. Every time you adjust the size of the text boxes the text changes font sizes, and to change font, spacing, margins you have to go to a bunch of different menus. It took me forever to finally make a cover that gave the basic information of song titles and it didn't even look cool.
A nice feature about this program is that it also has a program to decorate the actual CD. You have to buy stickers in the shape of the CD, but the program helps to cut the picture to the right size. There is a drawing of how big the CD is on the comp, all you do is past a picture or words over it, anything that isn't in the boundaries of the CD isn't printed.
Overall I would say this program is pretty good, it might be a good idea to find a friend who knows how to use it already and can help you for the first time. I am sure once you know what you are doing it is a piece of cake!
