I wanted to upgrade to a Pentium 3 from my old system (Packard Bell 133mhz) I came across the eMonster and I was very impressed. The price was much cheaper than the other comparable systems. The 3D games I played on the eMonster ran very smoothly with the Voodoo 3 video card and the DVD player also worked very well. I believe eMachines are on the right track with the production of this model, Setting up was simple. It doesn't come with much software and if you do a lot of multi-tasking, you may want to upgrade the pre-installed 64mb.I have yet to have any trouble with the eMonster.
The Bottom line? If your a first time buyer or looking to upgrade,the
eMonster 500 is an excellent choice!
