Live! Value?
Yep this is a light version of the LIVE Platinum, the high-end soundcard from Creative Labs that contains LiveDrive II and some audio software and golden audio connectors that make Platinum a choice for musicians.


How good is it?
WEll put this SoudCard with some decent speakers and you will get better sound than most hi-fi expensive music sets. Fully supporting EAX (well this is from Creative so..that is no suprise), it supports 4 speakers (like Creative Labs Fourpoint Surround), the sound experience is very good specially when using 4 speakers, plus for all you people with lower spec computers, unlike other Soundcards Live Value doesn't "eat" your PC processor power.


OEM or Retail?
Unlike other products that I recommend to buy Retail, I think with this one you can go happy home with the OEM version, since its price is much lower and you don't loose to much (only some software)


Conclusion
If you want to upgrade to a new SoudCard, Live Value is your choice, you will see (hear), your hears will appreciate.
