In the four years I have had my computer I have gone through several mouses (or is that mice?) but this is by far the worst ever. We bought this mouse because it was an inexpensive three button mouse. My husband had decided that we needed that third button (although I have yet to figure out why). We went to WalMart and saw this one. The price just couldn't be beat so we bought it. Now I wish I had saved my money.
Installing this mouse was a pain. It never did install correctly. The middle mouse button is programmable according to the instructions but even when following the instructions carefully we could never get it to program. We would think it was but then when we would go to close it out it would tell us that we had not saved our changes, regardless of how many times we saved it. So we have used it just as a regular two button mouse.
But it isn't even a very good two button mouse. This mouse started acting jumpy just a few weeks after getting it. We took it apart to see if it needed cleaning and discovered that one of the little roller bars had popped out. We should have taken it back right then because it has popped out a dozen times since then. Even when the bar is in place and the mouse is clean it does not operate very smoothly though. It is definitely not very good for games.
I will never buy this brand of mouse again. I guess you get what you paid for.... however I don't even think I got my money's worth on this one.
