Pros: Larger company means faster connects.

Cons: Transferring over was TOUGH with LONG busys and cutoffs.

Our old isp was bought by OneMain late last year. When the transfer took place things were VERY ROUGH for about one month. After that though we have been having wonderful success with this company.

We have good, reliable service that is reasonably priced.

Our old company is still in charge, which is a hassle (There customer service leaves something to be desired!) but we have better connections and quicker to boot. Hardly any busy signals now too.

So, if OneMain comes around to your "RURAL" area (which is exactly what they are looking for) I would be happy about it if I were you.
