I couldn't be happier. I set it up in my bedroom (2nd floor) of the house, and about 2 minutes after plugging in and configuring it, I was surfing the internet/checking my mail/printing to the printer in the basement.... WITHOUT WIRES!
I had to move some laundry from the washer to the dryer and get my printout, so I took my PowerBook with me to test my connection. Everywhere in the house was great! I can surf while I eat breakfast, while I'm watching my daughter play in the living room/basement, anywhere! And since the weather is starting to get nice again (been raining off and on for weeks up here), I should be able to supervise the little one while she's on her swingset and still surf/email/do whatever I want!
Setup of the base station and the Airport card in my computer was a breeze - the software comes with a setup assistant, which asks you simple questions to guide you on your way. It also defaults the answers to the most likely choices, thus making it very easy to configure for brand-new computer owners.
The office I work at is planning on setting up wireless access points in all the conference rooms/various offices for increased functionality - since Apple is using an industry standard, I won't have any problems jumping into the wireless pool and wowing everyone while they're still trying to configure they're laptops to work! And the best part is that because Apple thought ahead, my office will be able to buy Airport cards for the G4's we have in the office, and then we won't need to run any more 10-Base-T cabling for the design dept!
Can't say enough good things about this!
