I have been a netcom/mindspring customer for over four years and at times have had mixed feelings about the service. Recently I have learned through experience that when netcom switched over to becoming Mindspring the technical support has improved tremendously. To start with they answer the phone on the tech support support number in one minute. Really!!!! I have called three times now so i know it wasn't just a lucky fluke. You really do get fast service. Today I had a problem with not being able to connect and found that by talking to Mindspring support the problem was not with the ISP, it was with the modem in my brand new computer. The tech service rep talked to me for at least forty minutes until he finally changed a "string command " in my modem and then i was able to dial in again instantly.
I almost never get busy signals with MIndspring. There new sofware is easy to install and easy to use. The tech support is wonderful. Ive been paying the same price for four years while the service has improved tremendously. What more can you ask from an ISP. I am soooooo glad that I stuck with them through the changeover. I recommend anyone who wants an ISP with great tech support should try MIndspring.
