After reading all the bad reviews of StartSampling, I decided to go ahead and try it out. I think it's great. I've already received 2 different samples from them, and I joined about 2 weeks ago. I love getting free stuff. StartSampling is kind of like a game. You have to go to the page at the right time to get the prize. I got my free sample of Jolly Ranchers yesterday. I remember when I signed up for those they only had 12 left, and after I signed up they had 4 left. The samples go fast, so you have to hurry. After I got one, I had this feeling that I'd won a round in some game and was getting a prize. It's a game to see who gets the sample and who doesn't. The samples come about a week after you sign up for them. I also got a free sample of tea.
I only go there about once a day if I remember. You can't expect to get a lot. They are just samples! If you get some, great for you. If you don't, there'll be one there another day.
You can also earn points to get free stuff. You get points everyday for logging on to their page, trying a sample, reading about sponsors, reviewing a sample that you got, and filling out surveys. Your points add up and you can get free books, cds, and other stuff. I think StartSampling is great. They probably weren't so great in the beginning because they were new, but you just have to give it a chance for it to really grow and become great.
