At $19.99, I Bought Another One Just For The Ink Refills!

I needed a printer, but didn't want to buy an expensive one because my 2 year old gets into and breaks EVERYTHING. So, I was in Office Depot one day, and this printer was $69.99 with a $25 instant rebate and a $25 mail-in rebate, which made the printer $19.99. I figured if the baby broke it, I'd only be out 20 bucks. And to be perfectly honest, I didn't expect much for 20 bucks...
But I was wrong...
PROS:
We have used it for about three months now, and are extremely pleased with our purchase. We have not received any error messages, the software was easy to load, and the print quality is much better than I expected. About the same as other ink jets.
The accompanying literature says it can print labels and long banners, but we haven't tried yet.
CONS:
Occasionally, it will draw in a few more pieces of paper than it needs to. Also, a couple of times it didn't print quite right, the letters were all jammed up together, so I just printed again and everything printed fine. But, it could be that the paper I bought is too thick.
I think it's a great buy for 20 bucks, even 30 or 40. If you decide to buy this printer (or any other printer, for that matter) and get a great price, do what I did--go buy another one just for the ink and printhead. I went online and priced black, cyan, magenta ink refills and a new printhead for this printer and the total was $98.00. So I bought the second printer just for the refills!
