Yes this is a wonderful piece of software that is out there. But hey, guess what? You are being watched what you do while you are online. If you want a quick check, do a search on your computer for Time Sink Ad Ware. It is some software that is buried deep within in this program that monitors your online activity and sends the information to advertisers and who knows what other agency.


Now, don't get me wrong. I used to like the program until I found out about the secrets that this was hiding. If I had been given the choice wether or not to install the "Spy Ware" I would have declined. The average person may not even be aware that there computer is being monitored so closely. Ok, so gator does make using the web a lot easier. I have logged into hundreds of sites and it is difficult to keep track of all the different passwords and user names. So in that respect this program does a pretty good job. In fact, if it were not for the problems that I have mentioned in this review, I would say that this is a must have. All you have to do is go to a web site that requires a log in and if you have Gator in the back ground, it asks if you want to save your login information and then the very next time you get back to that site, the log in assistant from gator pops up and lets you click one button to log in to that site. You can also create different log in profiles in case you have several different people using your machine.

There are some tools that you can download that will allow you to search your computer for the "Spy Ware" type files and give you the the control and privacy that you demand for your online activities. The one tool that is very effective is called Ad-Aware. It is available as a free download at www.download.com.

You do not have to take my word for it. Please check it out for yourself. You will be surprised and hopefully shocked enough to tell your friends to be careful.
