Lots of you might heard many of good reviews about this DVD player. I own this DVD player myself, and I can tell you, it was a big mistake. First, during DVD playing on Window 98, the DVD will stop playing almost evertime, it is very unstable, cost computer crashing. Second. Then I tried it on Window 2000, Creative is still testing this player in Window 2000, so they do not have the driver for it yet. but you can still use NT3's driver to view DVDs, but it cost many problems such as computer will restart. Second, why do you want to watch DVD on your home pc monitor screen?? I know the decoder card can let you hook it to the home TV, so what is the point? why don't you just go buy a home DVD device that does not need you to connecting a long wire from your computer to the TV set. And you have to make sure you have a nice sound card installed in your computer, so will bring out the whole point of watching DVD.
Over all, I would not suggest anyone to buy a DVD player for their computer. It's just not worth it!!!
