Is it Worth the Price?

I have the pleasure to be a Tech for a growing technologies Business in Minnesota. I had only worked there for a short time before I was given a warning about talking about company business outside the walls of the store. Well, I was new then and didn't understand about the PC wars. I took my up and comings bravly and began settling in to my new job.Sometime into working I was amazed at the price for the computers there. $3000.00 and up we were selling (are selling) them for. It wasn't until I was in on fixing a problem with one that I found out. Wow what a difference a $1000.00 dollars makes. Not to give to many secerts out. I will give a few clues to these machines. First, how fast dose MS word open on your machine? How would you like it if it opened faster then the blink of your eye? Well it can and dose for may people. Gaming, hay I can't even begin to tell you about. But here is what happened to me.While testing our machine I desided to take on-line Quak for a spin. I called some freinds and told them to help test a machine for me by a quick game. Well no arguments and soon the game was afoot. I whipped them out, And have since sold two of my companies wonder machines to them.So, the whole idea is, is the high end machine worth buying? Or should you stick to the middle ground? Well look at your money and say good buy for now because the best computer buys are not the disposable computers you can buy at Wal-Mart. That's right, Those computer are not really made to last and most asurily not made to upgrade. With no upgradability and no resale value, what or how much will it cost you over the long term???Okay, I'm no writer, but I know my computers and I can tell you from a tech support position that most of the repair calls we get are for low end machines and mail order machines who's companys only offer generic tech support.Spend the money.
