There are a couple of excellent sites for MP3 browsing (the best one I've found is MP3.com), but watch out for the search engine hits! In several years of wandering the internet I've never encountered the kind of attack on my computer that I experienced at several non-commercial MP3 sites.

I call it an attack when clicking on a link opens DOZENS of new browser windows from jerk-sites with ripped off music. Not even my pop-up window filtering software could protect me. Its impossible to close the windows fast enough! To top it off these sites have little to offer except more unwanted attacks from other hacker-jerks.

My advice is simple: MP3.com is fantastic, and most commercial sites are OK too, but if what you are looking for isn't available at a commercial site be wary!
